"Give it a name"

from Triad by KoriSoron

/

about

Originally this track was called "faux flamenco" as the opening arpeggio and melody had a kind of Nuevo Flamenco feel. It was desperately in need of a name. As Scott draws most of his influences from films and literature he jokingly referenced a phrase from the film, "Things to do in Denver When You're Dead" (a film with a fantastic cast by the way including, "Andy García, Christopher Lloyd, William Forsythe, Bill Nunn, Treat Williams, Jack Warden, Steve Buscemi, and Christopher Walken.). The film created a type of slang that included the phrase, "Give it a name" which evoked and acknowledgement and an agreement (a la "Word.")
