Cadineasca (9/16)

from Triad by KoriSoron

/

about

A cadineasca is a Romanian dance that’s traditionally performed in a half circle. This piece is played in a 9/16 time signature that's broken up into a (2+2+2+3) rhythmic division.

Scott arranged this traditional tune from an accordion melody that he found years ago in a book buried in the National Library of Congress.
